Leadership

Harvest Church is a “Mission Church” of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church denomination.

“Mission Church” means that we are a new church that is in route to becoming a full member church of the EPC once certain requirements have been met. Regionally, we’re part of the EPC Presbytery of the Coastal Mid-Atlantic (PCMA) that essentially covers Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina along the I-95 corridor and east to the Atlantic coast.

Our Pastor

Pastor Ken Priddy

Our pastor is Rev. Ken Priddy. Ken is a seasoned veteran of ministry with forty years of church ministry experience. He holds the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Newburgh Theological Seminary.

Pastor Ken is a ministry specialist who has served with multiple mission churches, has trained mission church pastors and teams, has served as a revitalization pastor, and has trained and consulted with revitalization pastors and teams. He’s also on the faculty of Christian Leaders Institute where he creates and produces leadership video courses for CLI’s online education programs.

Ken’s ministry with Harvest Church is precise and catalytic, a combination of his experience as a pastor, trainer, and consultant. Much like the pace car at a NASCAR event, Pastor Ken will provide initial leadership in setting the pace and direction for the church and in equipping the initial congregation spiritually and strategically to launch its ministry of being disciples who make disciples. Once this initial groundwork is laid, Ken’s season with Harvest Church will give way to a pastor who will be called as the first projected long-term pastor for Harvest Church.

Ken and Sharon have been married for 53 years, have four children and five grandchildren with, hopefully, more to come.
